Bieke Buckinx
Bieke Buckinx has crafted her own unique artistic universe as a full-time painter. Her contemporary and figurative paintings primarily focus on everyday subjects, seeking beauty in the mundane. Infused with a certain ironic humor, her works aim to emphasize the less serious side of life, maintaining an airy quality without losing depth. Notably, her series No Carbs portrays various hotdogs while simultaneously addressing the exaggerated online health culture.
